Rules for posting

This is a very tolerant forum, designed for the beginning and the advanced user. But even here you have to stick to some rules before posting:

Every question that fits somehow in the "environment" of learning Maya is welcome.
No matter how advanced you already are - if you have a problem, donīt feel ashamed and post it.

On the other hand, try to specify your problem as much as you can, even if it is a newbie-question. Questions like "what is the best 3d software" are very abstract and usually canīt be answered meaningful.

Flaming because of newbie-questions is strictly forbidden.
If someone posted a question that is too general for your eyes, behave, try to ignore it and skip to the next post. Flaming posts will be deleted.

Use meaningful titles when posting.
This makes it easier for everyone searching the forum - and usually results in a quicker answer. Titles like "please reply" or "help please" are not very meaningful.

Fill out your profile as much as you are able to reveal.
It is nice to know where you come from.

Happy learning,
Boris
